GS040741 Seminar in Applied Oncology ResearchGrimm, Elizabeth. Spring odd-numbered years. One semester hour. Prerequisite: Cancer Biology (GS040063) or consent of instructor The goal of this course is to provide advanced Ph.D. students with an appreciation of the means by which different research findings are applied in patient therapy trials. Examples of the development of basic research findings and their translation to cancer patients at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center will be presented. Background reading is assigned for each week. |
