GS040771 Current Topics in Tumor Progression
Gallick, Gary. One semester hour. Fall annually. Prerequisite:
none
This is a seminar course in which students meet weekly and
analyze current topics in the molecular regulation of tumor progression
and metastasis. Alternate faculty and student presentations of the current
literature not covered in depth in other courses or formats will fulfill
two objectives. First, students will have the opportunity to learn to
critically analyze, evaluate, and present current articles in this area.
The second goal is to teach students how to critically write a NIH-type
grant application which will be peer-reviewed by both the Coordinator
and the students.
