NEW COURSE PROPOSAL Faculty members may submit proposals for new courses to The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) Curriculum Committee using the form entitled Proposed Graduate Course, which may be obtained from the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA). The review and evaluation of course proposals generally requires one to two months, although the process may be expedited when required. Basic requirements for proposing a course include (1) that the course fill a void in the current GSBS curriculum, and (2) that the course coordinator be a GSBS faculty member. Faculty members who wish to propose a new course should complete the standard form and submit it to the OAA. The OAA will submit the completed form to the GSBS Curriculum Committee for review. Additional information regarding the submission of new course proposals may be obtained from the Dr. Jon R. Wiener, Assistant Dean, Office of Academic Affairs (713-500-9870; jon.r.wiener@uth.tmc.edu).
