TUITION SPONSORSHIP Beginning with the Fall 2003 term, tuition and standard required fees for all GSBS Graduate Research Assistants (GRAs) will be paid by the sponsor for the GRA. In order for tuition and required fees to be paid, the sponsor must complete the form entitled Sponsorship Authorization Form. For example, for incoming students supported by the GSBS during the tutorial time period, tuition and standard required fees will also be covered during this time period. For incoming students supported by various faculty or GSBS Programs, tuition and standard required fees will be covered by the faculty or Program. Once a student has found an advisor, the advisor, in addition to funding the assistantship salary and benefit premium sharing, will also fund the tuition and standard required fees for the duration of that student's training at the GSBS. Support of the tuition includes when a student takes a course(s) at a neighboring university under a formal cooperative agreement. However, it does not include course tuition for students who must resolve admission deficiencies. In addition, not all possible fees that are charged by the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston are covered by the sponsor. For example, the graduation fee is not covered by the sponsor, and for international students, the repatriation insurance fee is not covered.
