To search, enter a keyword or words (e.g.,apoptosis, kinase, gene therapy, microbiology, etc.) or the name of a faculty member (e.g., spudich) or a journal (e.g., j biol chem, nature, dev biol, etc.). The query language is not case sensitive. You may use an asterisk (*) as a wildcard (e.g., immuno* to find tutorial descriptions containing immunology, immunotherapy, immunoprecipitate, etc.) and the standard Boolean operators such as AND, OR and NOT. For additional instructions about searching this database, click on the 'Help' button below.

In the list of names that results from the search, click on the button in the left hand column to see the tutorial/research description of the particular faculty member. Minimize (shrink) both the search result screen and the faculty member's research description and put the two side-by-side to facilitate the sequential review of the names on the list.

You may also search the databases below to get current information about a faculty member's publication history or NIH funding.  Please note that many faculty members have long-term funding from sources other than NIH which do not show up in the CRISP database.
