Research Interests:
The goal of my research is to understand the role of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes in the development of tumors and metastasis. A tutorial in my laboratory would provide a learning experience in designing experiments and testing hypothesis using various techniques such as DNA and RNA isolation and purification, construction of expression vectors, transfection, inhibition of gene expression by small interfering RNA, kinase assay, electrophoretic mobility shift assay, reporter gene assays, Western, Southern, Northern blot analyses, PCR and protein purification.
