Research Interests:

Objectives are [1] To understand the molecular mechanisms of cutaneous T-cell lymphomas (and other T-cell mediated diseases). [2] To develop FDA approved safe and effective therapies that modulate gene expression and induce T-cell apoptosis. [3] To elucidate the transforming activity of a lipid raft protein flotillin-2 and PAR-1 interactions in melanoma progression and as a target for effective therapy.

A tutorial in my laboratory would involve molecular biology techniques, tissue culture, gene modulation with siRNAs, immunology, immunohistochemistry, mouse tumor models, depending on the project selected.
