Research Interests:

My research has been centered around Computed Tomography (CT) QA/QC and radiation dosimetry; CT clinical protocol optimization; clinical implementation, evaluation, and QA of CT systems; evaluation of digital imaging system performance and image quality; develop and improve techniques for imaging physics QA/QC; and patient dose measurement in imaging procedures.

Depending on the student’s interests, a tutorial in my area would provide an introduction to diagnostic imaging systems, image quality, and radiation dose management; provide experience with measurement and calculation of radiation dose to patient and personnel; provide opportunity to learn methods of image acquisition, transfer, archive, display, and techniques of image quality evaluation and optimization; provide an environment to gain hands-on experience with QA/QC tools, set up, and procedures.
