Research Interests:

My current research activities are focused on digital chest and mammographic imaging techniques using computed radiography, charge-coupled-device (CCD) and flat panel detector systems. I am also interested in quantitative measurements or image analysis using these techniques.

The student will have the opportunity to acquire digital images, transfer image data from acquisition device to PACS archival and then to the physics computer systems. The student will also practice taking images of test patterns or phantoms and use them to check and measure the spatial resolution, noise properties and contrast-detail performance.
