Research Interests:
The research in my laboratory applies a systems biology approach of high throughput analysis using genome-wide RNA interference screening technology. We use this approach to identify novel genes involved in the regulation of histone mRNA during S phase as well as genes governing the synthesis of snRNA.
A research tutorial in my lab will allow a student to use a combination of biochemical, molecular biological, and genetic approaches in both human cells and Drosophila.
